Dr. Jeffrey D. Breckenridge currently serves as a Family Physician in his hometown of Marion, Indiana. A graduate of Marion High School (1984), Dallas Baptist University (1988) and the Indiana University School of Medicine (1993); he has practiced medicine in and around Grant County since 1996.
After completing Residency at Hinsdale Family Medicine Program in the west suburbs of Chicago he returned to Marion in 1996 and has been a vital member of the community. He serves on the Grant County Board of Health since 1997, through bipartisan administrations. He has been awarded The 1997 Presidential Award from the NAACP; the 2009 Positive Impact Award from Eastern Star-Prince Hall Affiliation and the 2012 Physician Champion Award from the Northern Indiana Veterans Health Care System.
He is one of the original organizers of the first and only Charter School in Marion, IN and served as School Board President from 2010 to 2015.
He has been a Baptist preacher since 1989, and has committed himself to the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ and the art of medicine servicing his fellowman. He has taught for Indiana Wesleyan University, Simmons Bible College and preaches & lectures regularly throughout the country.
