SMALL BUSINESS WEEK 2017

National Small Business Week started in 1963 as a proclamation issued by the president and we have been celebrating it ever since.  This is an opportunity to highlight the outstanding contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs  from all 50 States and US Territories.

SMALL BUSINESS WEEK SHOPPING

Don’t forget to go out and support your local small business April 30 – May 6, 2017.   This is not to say that you are not to support small businesses all the time, but we are asking that you make a special effort that week.  If you would like to be a Sponsor then please complete and submit this form.   If your state has not already issues a proclamation declaring Small Business Week in your community then please encourage them to use the sample proclamation form located on the SBA’s website. There are many ways we can support small businesses and entrepreneur so please seek them out and do so.

    I am all about supporting the local small business or small businesses in general. Its sucha great way to do something good.

    Supporting small and local business is so important! They give character and are the heart and soul of a community. I like big box stores as much as the next person but we try and go local as much as we can.

    I love supporting small business owners! Fortunately, I know many small business owners and my city is full of locally owned businesses, so I support them throughout the year (and will definitely take note of small business week!)
