Introduction To HTML
HTML is an acronym for hypertext markup language; markup there means it is plain text language. To prepare a document for the web, we need to markup the text with specific tags. In HTML, tags walk in pairs; one to open and one to close. Both of these tags are pretty much the same name except the ending tag is preceded by a “/”. Example to display “HOME” we would need HOME.
Element Vs Element Content
Element refers to the opening tag, closing tag and what is written between HOME. “STRONG” in this case is an element. The element content on the other hand would be “HOME”. Sometimes elements are empty, such as:

Heading 1 –
Heading 1

Heading 2 –
Heading 2

Heading 3 –
Heading 3

Heading 4 –
Heading 4

Heading 5 –
Heading 5

Heading 6 –
Heading 6

The paragraph tag is used when you need to place text into different paragraphs.
This is a paragraph –
This is a paragraph.

When you need to start writing in a new line without starting a new paragraph, you use the line break. If we want “Please Stay Here” and “We will be right back” to be in separate lines. Here is what we would write:
Please stay here
We will be right back

To change the font size you use Font size=”1″ (Changing the number to the font size you desire
